I’m Ray Thornett, a queer illustrator based in Birmingham, UK. My work draws on all things esoteric, cryptic, and spooky, blending the eerie with cult modern iconography. Inspired by medieval woodcut etchings, folklore, religious mysticism, and gothic symbolism, I create imagery that sits somewhere between the sacred and the unsettling. I’m the creator of the Tarot of Famous Witches and the illustrator behind the board game Molly House.
